Call for Submissions: 2026 Prizes

The 2026 ADHS Dissertation Prize and the Rorabaugh Book Prize are open for submissions and nominations.

The ADHS Dissertation Prize is given at each bi-ennial ADHS conference for outstanding work in the historical study of alcohol and/or drugs, as demonstrated by the completion of the Ph.D. and a proposal to turn the dissertation into a publishable monograph. The deadline is January 1, 2026.

The Rorabaugh Book Prize is awarded every other year by the Alcohol and Drugs History Society to the best first or second book in the field of the history of alcohol/drugs. The deadline is December 31, 2025.
